Elevator Pitch:
"Based on the 1997 film of the same name, the musical adapts the legend of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia, who could have escaped the execution of her family. Years later, an amnesiac orphan named Anya hopes to find some trace of her family by siding with two con men who wish to take advantage of her likeness to the Grand Duchess." (Wikipedia )

I was so pleased with this! Anastasia was my favorite Disney movie so I'm probably biased, but I was so worried that they would not adapt it well and I really enjoyed all the changes. I thought the music they added was pretty on par with the original score, which helped it not feel shoehorned in. I liked the use of the the theme from In the Dark of the Night (from the movie) in Stay, I Pray You (I think that's the right one, the one in the train station.) I also thought it was a smart change from Rasputin to the more realistic Gleb character.
