About Stacy Jolena Collins (B.Mus w. Hons, R.M.T.)

Stacy has always had a passion for music and music education. She has worked in classical, musical theatre and choral settings, and has over a decade of experience in the field of music education.

Stacy began music lessons at the age of 4. Through her elementary and secondary years, Stacy studied voice, piano, dance and acting with several institutions and teachers. In early high school she began teaching private piano and voice lessons, as well as working as an accompanist and conductor with the Upper Canada Chorus. She continued this work during her post-secondary education and graduated with honours from University of Toronto’s Bachelor of Music Education program in 2015, majoring in both voice & piano. After graduating, she continued to teach music and opened Stacy Jolena Studio in 2018. Additionally, she works at George Brown College's Ballet Jörgen Dance Program as a Music Professor and Accompanist for their Commercial Dance Program. She also does work in and around Toronto with various institutions and community groups as a music director, producer, arranger, coach and performer. She is also trained in acting and dance.
