About Stacy Jolena Collins (B.Mus, R.M.T.)
Stacy graduated with honours from University of Toronto’s Bachelor of Music Education program in 2015, majoring in both voice and piano. She has worked in classical, musical theatre and choral settings, and has over a decade of experience in the field of music education.
Stacy began piano lessons at the age of 4 and voice lessons at the age of 8 (although she was singing long before that)! Throughout her elementary and secondary schooling, Stacy participated in both the Upper Canada Chorus and CharActors Theatre Troupe, and began working as an instructor for both companies in high school. As she continued her own voice and piano study, she began teaching private music lessons, as well as working as an accompanist and conductor. She continued to work as a music educator during her studies at the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto. After graduating, she began working as a music director for community theatre in Toronto.
