About Stacy Jolena Collins (B.Mus w. Hons, R.M.T.)

Stacy's passion for music and education creates an enriching and exciting environment at Stacy Jolena Studio. Her arts education started at the piano at the age of four, and continued as a lifelong exploration of voice, piano, dance, and acting across diverse settings.

Her formative years were spent doing piano and voice lessons, singing in choir, performing in stage and musical theatre productions, and dancing in various styles. She was lucky to be given the opportunity to teach all of these art forms through the various institutions she was involved with from a young age. It was clear that education was going to be a large part of her own artistic journey since this time. She further deepened her knowledge and skills at the University of Toronto; earning her Bachelor of Music Education with honours in 2015, majoring in voice and piano.

Post graduation, Stacy's dedication to music education led to the establishment of Stacy Jolena Studio in 2018. Beyond her studio, she has taught as a Vocal Professor for George Brown College's Ballet Jörgen Commercial Dance Program, and is a Conductor at the Canadian Children's Opera Company. She also collaborates with various Toronto institutions and community groups, sharing her multifaceted skills as an educator, coach, performer, music director, accompanist, and more.
